My name is Melissa. I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching for five years in dual language immersion district.About 80% of our students are native Spanish speakers, and receive literacy instruction in Spanish. All of my students work together in English and Spanish with the goal of being bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural. I created this blog to help all bilingual teachers. As a bilingual teacher we don't have many resources available. Most of it we have to translate or is teacher made. I found that blogging is an excellent resources for sharing ideas.
I noticed that hot glue tends to come off when you glue poster on the wall. I used Scotch Masking Take #2020 (high adhesion) found in Home Depot. Things don't fall off. It last all year long. One roll goes a long way. I just purchased a roll to start decorating my classroom. You might take this into consideration. I highly recommend it to anyone that has to use the wall as bulletin boards. I have personally used it. Give it a try. You have nothing to loose.
I am not sure if it works on bricks but it does on concrete walls.
